HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for a direct placement opportunity in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This role requires at least one year of OT experience in acute care, inpatient care, or rehabilitation. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and BLS within 30 days of employment. Compensation is $32.62–$48.93 per hour with full-time days and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT and licensure as required; exact licensing will be confirmed during screening.
• At least one year OT experience in acute/inpatient/rehab settings.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and limitations affecting daily activities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Provide OT interventions supporting self-care, coordination and daily living participation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and strategies for independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on goals and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety procedures.
