Job summary

The Pines at Philadelphia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to organize and conduct therapy programs, helping residents regain independence and adapt to daily life in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

This full-time OT role offers $60/hour with benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K, holiday pay, PTO, overtime opportunities, and weekly appreciation events; same-day pay and refer-a-friend bonuses are also available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the AOTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Registered and/or eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops goals and treatment plans, and documents services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Chooses activities suited to each resident’s capacity and interests.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to select appropriate programs.
• Provides instruction and evaluates progress and performance.
• Adapts programs to meet individual resident needs.
• Attends care conferences and contributes to care planning.
• Conducts training for staff in occupational therapy techniques.
• Requisitions supplies and maintains equipment.
• Supervises supportive personnel and ensures quality of service.
