Job summary

The Pines at Philadelphia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to organize and conduct therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation and functional independence. The OT will guide residents through activities, adapt programs to individual needs, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, designing adaptive devices, collaborating with the rehabilitation team, and ensuring documentation and progress

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by AOTA and certified by AOTA.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state.
• Registered and/or eligible for certification by NBCOT.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop treatment goals and plans; document services.
• Design and fit adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Select appropriate activities based on resident capacity and interests.
• Consult with rehabilitation team to tailor activity programs.
• Instruct residents in skills for participation and assess progress.
• Adapt program to resident needs and participate in meetings.
