Job summary

West Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an Occupational Therapist for per diem shifts. You will evaluate ADLs, develop goal-oriented treatment plans, and promote maximum independence in patients across acute care settings.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, Nevada state license, NBCOT certification, and current BLS. Per diem role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities within VHS across Nevada.

West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. Services available include emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology and inpatient care for medical needs such as pneumonia. Hospital services include:

Qualifications

Shift: PER DIEM VARIED

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a university program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) academic and intern requirements for competence.

Nevada State License as a Registered Occupational Therapist. Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification.

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

May work as a Graduate of Occupational Therapy with recognition of the Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners with on-site
