HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist PRN IPR to join our team in Houston, TX. You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and provide hands-on therapy to support recovery and independence, working closely with physicians and the care team.

You will document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Formación

• Licensed OT in the state of TX is required.
• A minimum of a BS degree from an accredited OT program is required.
• 1–2 years of rehab experience; acute care a plus.
• Must be able to pickup at least 2 shifts per month, including 1 weekend shift.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence‑based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans; document outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions of care.
• Lead by example; guide therapy assistants and students.
