A leading home health therapy team in Florida is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist (OTR) for a flexible contracting opportunity. Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist in Home Health is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to ADL’s, transfers, home modifications, functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions. Based on this assessment and evaluation, the Occupational Therapist works to determine the proper plan of care, treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's independence, well-being, and evaluates the patient's progress.

• Provides appropriate and thorough teaching to patients and their caregivers.
• Must have device that can connect with company software in order to do reports and view care plans.
• Participates in staff and administrative meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed by the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Must have a current FL driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
• Must pass AHCA background check (https://info.flclearinghouse.com).
• Current in person CPR certification required.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and /or equipment.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.

Experience

• Occupational Therapy: 1 year

Pay: Commensurate with years of OT experience, home health experience, and documentation knowledge.
