Join Ahava Therapy Services as an Occupational Therapist - PRN - Francis Marion Manor Health and Rehabilitation.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide flexible, high-quality care at our skilled nursing facility in Marion, VA. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on maximizing patient potential and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs.
  2. Implement and document therapy sessions, adjusting plans as necessary.
  3. Supervise and instruct therapy assistants and educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in care conferences.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  6. Support community resource referrals and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state license/certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation).
