Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Michigan to join a community-based care team. The OT will develop and oversee client treatment plans, conduct evaluations, and work one-on-one with clients to restore independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, documenting progress, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating families on safety and adaptive techniques. Come make a meaningful impact in your local community.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Current Michigan state OT licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist
• Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving independence, finctional abilities, and quality
• Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions
• Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program
• Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan
• CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules
