Job summary

AdvisaCare is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Michigan. You will complete comprehensive evaluations, establish goals of care, and oversee therapy services to help clients regain independence in daily living activities.

This role emphasizes one-on-one client care, education for patients and families, and collaboration with a supportive care team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered services in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct occupational exercises and activities to improve independence and functional abilities.
• Assess and document clients' progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to provide support.
• Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
