Job summary

ARC Rehab is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation in Naperville, IL. You will perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver therapy to residents. Candidates must hold an Illinois OT license, communicate effectively with patients and team, and be comfortable using computers.

SNF experience is preferred but not required. This role is on-site and flexible to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Illinois Occupational Therapist license required.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop plans of care for residents.
• Provide OT services and therapeutic interventions.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Screen residents who may benefit from therapy and monitor progress.
• Communicate patient status to patients, families, and the care team.
• Supervise assistants as applicable and participate in team meetings.

Accommodate, Restore & Collaborate (ARC Rehab) is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) at Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation in Naperville, IL. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performing evaluations/plans of care and providing treatment accordingly.
• Appropriately and effectively completing documentation.
• Screening residents and individuals who may benefit from therapy.
• Communicating patient status and needs to the patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care.
• Directing and supervising the work of assistants as applicable.
• Expanding and enhancing self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.
• Providing in-service training sessions or other educational presentations to members of the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Supporting and participating in department operations/meetings.

Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Illinois as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues
• Comfortable with computers
• Preferred experience working at a SNF, but we are open to other practice area experience
