Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Vibra and Select Medical, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for Bowling Green, KY. The Per Diem position includes an extensive orientation and potential pathways to full-time opportunities based on performance.

Ideal candidates hold an active OT license and BLS certification, with the ability to initiate within 90 days if not already certified.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans.
• Directs and delegates therapy services to ensure functional programs for return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, and co-workers about therapy plans and progress.
• Performs other professional duties related to the care of the patient and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co‑workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
