Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide professional OT services to assigned patients. The role involves evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing reassessment and discharge planning within a fast-paced clinical setting.

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited OT program, hold a valid Texas license or temporary license, and maintain current BLS certification, with at least 1 year of licensed OT experience.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program and licensure in Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Texas license or temporary Texas license required.
• At least 1 year of licensed OT experience.

The Occupational Therapist PRN position renders professional and technical occupational therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more. The campus will also include a 40,000-square-foot medical office building.
