Job summary

Emerald Care Center Southwest in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence through therapy, education, and support. You will join an interprofessional team to create and implement individualized plans that address each patient’s needs and goals.

You will educate patients and families, document progress, and contribute to care planning in a fast-paced environment focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Oklahoma OT license.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, empathy and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify goals and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide OT interventions to improve motor skills, balance and coordination.
• Educate patients and caregivers on daily living activities and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
• Document progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Participate in team meetings and care planning.
