Emerald Care Center Southwest in Oklahoma City, OK seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence through therapy, education, and support. You will join an interprofessional team to create and implement individualized plans that address each patient’s needs and goals.

As an Occupational Therapist at Emerald Care Center Southwest, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential through therapy, education, and support. You will work closely with our interprofessional team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs. Your expertise will help our patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and goals
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' gross and fine motor skills, coordination, and balance
Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques and strategies for daily living activities
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Oklahoma
Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
