Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients with orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical conditions, develops individualized plans of care, and works collaboratively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to support functional recovery and independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to join Spaulding MGB in Braintree, Massachusetts. Our interdisciplinary team includes experienced providers in physiatry, physical therapy, and occupational therapy who share a patient-centered commitment to exceptional care. We are looking for a clinician with experience evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical conditions. The ideal candidate will apply evidence-based clinical reasoning and deliver skilled interventions, including activities of daily living training, therapeutic exercise and activities, functional and neuromuscular training, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and splint fabrication, to improve patients’ function, safety, and independence. We offer internal continuing education, mentorship, and tuition reimbursement for eligible continuing education courses. Education

Master’s Degree Occupational Therapy required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Licenses and Credentials
  • Occupational Therapist [State License] - required
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred

  • Occupational Therapist, experience preferred, all applicants meeting requirements considered.
