Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cambridge. This per diem, onsite role requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and licensure, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

You will assess patients of all ages, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You will educate patients and families on home exercises, maintain records, and participate in staff development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Licenses: Occupational Therapist State License.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in residential/assisted living or skilled nursing preferred.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities and exercises they can do at home.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care.

  • Attend staff meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities to stay current with new techniques and best practices.
