Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to support acute care at the Newark campus, working with a dynamic team and providing patient-centered care.

You'll treat diverse populations across Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic and General Debility, in bedside, ICUs, and gym settings, with ongoing mentoring and access to state-of-the-art equipment; weekend and potential weekday hours offered.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR Certification required.
• AOTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in acute care at Christiana Hospital Newark campus.
• Treat a diverse patient population including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic and General Debility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team with mentoring and access to equipment.

Christiana Care is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to work with a dynamic team in this patient centered facility. In this position you will primarily care for patients in acute care at the Christiana Hospital Newark campus. Patients are seen in this large hospital in various settings including bedside, multiple intensive cares and small gyms. This position will include weekend hours and the opportunity for weekday hours.

This exciting position allows you to see a large variety of patient populations including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, Orthopedic and General Debility while working with a supportive team of OTs. The OT experience at Christiana Care offers a strong team approach, frequent interdisciplinary interaction, ongoing mentoring, state of the art equipment and professional level educational opportunities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist
• CPR Certification required
• AOTA preferred

This is a flat rate position, any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable differentials. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
