Job summary

NovaCare Kids in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a part-time pediatric occupational therapist to join a fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and support children’s development.

You will evaluate and treat diverse pediatric diagnoses, collaborate with physicians, families, and school partners, and participate in mentorship and CEU programs while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other professionals to help pediatric patients reach goals and learn new skills.
  • Develop objective patient goals and establish type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
  • Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care under state and federal guidelines.
  • Complete patient care documentation requirements and participate in program development and quality improvement.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
State occupational therapist license (or eligibility)
CPR certification
Valid state driver’s license

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: Based on Experience

NovaCare Kids is seeking a part-time pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits and more. Feeding experience preferred.
