Job summary

Lowell Community Charter Public School is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to support students in a diverse K1-8 setting. You will collaborate with licensed clinicians, teachers, speech and language pathologists, and a physical therapist to deliver comprehensive student services.

The role involves administering standardized testing, developing and implementing IEPs, and maintaining progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Caseload will involve a mixture of students from K1-8th grade with a range of disabilities.
• Working alongside licensed clinicians, special education teachers, speech and language pathologists and a physical therapist as part of a collaborative team.
• The OT is responsible for administering and reporting on standardized testing, writing and implementing IEPs and completing progress notes.
• RTI services to our K1 and K classrooms.
• Medicaid Billing.
• The OT would have access to a designated space which has updated equipment and resources. These tools would be managed by the OT.
