Job summary

Lehigh-Acres-Health-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team. This full-time opportunity features excellent pay rates and a supportive environment led by the Director of Rehabilitation, with in-house multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include screening residents, contributing data to OT, delivering therapy per plan of care, and supporting the rehab department and facility goals.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in OT assisting (AS OT A) from an accredited program
• Florida OT Assistant license required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be computer/tech savvy

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Occupational Therapist
• Contributes objective data to Occupational Therapists as allowed by scope of practice
• Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success

Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility has a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where theOTA/COTAis an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
