Job summary

Greenbriar Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a dynamic Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate rehab team. The position emphasizes stability with one location, no daily travel, and a supportive environment.

You will screen residents, evaluate per physician orders, provide OT treatment, and supervise OTA/COTA as part of a collaborative IDT. Florida OT license and BS in OT are required, with strong communication and tech skills.

We are seeking a PER DIEM OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the OT is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

JOB SUMMARY

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention
• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care
• Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
• Supervision of OTA/COTA
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• A current Florida Occupational Therapy License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be computer/tech savvy
