Job summary

The Menta Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support students at C.O.R.E. Academy under IEP guidance. You will provide educational OT services, help develop goals, and maintain related service logs for your caseload.

This direct-hire, on-going position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays, following the school calendar. Active IL OT license and NBCOT registration are required to support students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold active IL OT license.
• Registered with NBCOT as an OT.
• Ability to work with students with ED/BD/OHI/Autism/TBI/OHI.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration & emotional upset.
• Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.
• Provide Occupational Therapy related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.
• Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
• Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed or IEP directed.

Job description

As an Occupational Therapist with The Menta Group, you will work with students to help them improve and develop the skills needed for day to day life and work, according to the students’ IEP’s.

Direct-Hire, on-going employment

Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Part-Time with working days M-F
