Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist for mostly outpatient long-term care (about 80%) and some swing bed acute care (about 20%). The full-time, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week with a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and relocation assistance.

Eligible candidates must have an OT degree (Bachelors/Masters/PhD) with Alaska OT licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Occupational Therapy required.
• Alaska Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Preferred: 2 years in subspecialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy services.
• Provide services to inpatients, outpatients, home health and long term care residents.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet guidelines and standards.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements of federal and state agencies.
