Job summary

Dartmouth Health in Lebanon, NH seeks an Occupational Therapist for outpatient care. This 28-hour-per-week role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits starting on day one, with opportunities to collaborate with physicians and a broad team in a large academic medical center.

You will evaluate and treat referred patients, coordinate treatment activities, and participate in a robust mentorship program and continuing education benefits designed to support professional growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR) required at hire, renewal optional.

Responsibilities

• Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention.
• Reports findings to other health care team members.
• Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.
• Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc.
• Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits.
• Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.
• Delegates tasks to support personnel.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
