Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join an Assisted Living Community in Schaumburg, IL. The role offers a weekday schedule withno weekend requirements and an hourly wage of $48–$54.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and advocating for access to community resources. Requires OT degree and state licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities; educate clients and families on daily activities and adaptive equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and connect them with community resources.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
