Job summary

Homeside Rehab in Northern New Jersey is expanding its home health team and is seeking compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to serve patients in their homes. You will evaluate, plan, and implement therapies to improve ADLs, motor skills, and functional independence, coordinating with physicians and caregivers.

We offer flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and per diem options, day and evening shifts, and a supportive clinical

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey OT or COTA license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Home Health, Outpatient, EI, or SNF preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation
• Valid New Jersey driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations (OTs) and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, upper extremity function, coordination, sensory processing, and independence
• Deliver skilled therapy services in patients' homes while promoting improved function and quality of life
• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and techniques
• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding scheduling, patient progress, and clinical needs

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations (OTs) and develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, upper extremity function, coordination, sensory processing, and overall functional independence.

• Deliver skilled therapy services in patients' homes while promoting improved function and quality of life.

• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

Position Details

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

• Compensation: $65.00–$80.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Schedule:

  • Choose your own hours

  • Monday through Friday

  • Day and evening shifts available

  • Weekend availability optional
