Job summary

Homeside Rehab is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our growing home health team in Northern New Jersey. You will evaluate patients in their homes, develop personalized treatment plans, and help clients regain independence in daily activities.

We offer flexible scheduling, day and evening shifts, competitive hourly pay, and a supportive interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Home Health, Outpatient, Early Intervention, or SNF preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid New Jersey drivers license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based OT interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, upper extremity function, coordination, sensory processing, and independence.
• Deliver skilled therapy services in patients' homes and promote improved function and quality of life.
• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive equipment.
• Communicate scheduling and patient progress with office staff.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our growing team throughout Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations (OTs) and develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, upper extremity function, coordination, sensory processing, and overall functional independence.

• Deliver skilled therapy services in patients' homes while promoting improved function and quality of life.

• Complete accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and therapeutic techniques.

• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding scheduling, patient progress, and clinical needs.

Position Details

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

• Compensation: $65.00–$80.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Schedule:

  • Choose your own hours

  • Monday through Friday

  • Day and evening shifts available

  • Weekend availability optional
