Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based services across Long Island and NYC. The role focuses on evaluations, progress tracking, and delivering OT per IEPs, collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals.

The ideal candidate holds ACOTE-accredited OT education, NBCOT registration, and a current state license, and will join a team that supports CEUs, clinical resources, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT degree required.
• Initial NBCOT registration/credential required.
• Active OT license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.

• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range: USD $54.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
