Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles hosts Lifepoint Rehabilitation's Occupational Therapist (OT) role in a PRN capacity. The OT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and help restore independence in daily activities within an inpatient setting.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will document progress, educate patients and families, and maintain safety standards while supporting rehabilitation goals. Competitive hourly pay applies to PRN staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' daily living skills.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.

How You'll Contribute

The Occupational Therapist (OT) The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing treatment plans that promote the ability to perform daily activities and improve functional independence

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' daily living skills.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required
• Familiarity with rehab documentation systems preferred
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Hourly Range: $54-$64 Per Hour
