Preferred Therapy Solutions, LLC in Holden, MA is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support geriatric residents in a well-equipped facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.

• Maintain electronic documentation with accuracy and timeliness using MS Outlook/Word/Excel.
• Be flexible with hours to meet patient needs.

Overview: A Per Diem Occupational Therapist , (OT/OTR), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Holden, MA. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center is a 123 bed nursing facility providing long term skilled care and short term rehab services. Holden Rehab is newly renovated and has grown to accommodate many needs with state of the art equipment and mostly private accommodations. Within Holden's new building there are three distinct neighborhoods; short stay, long term and Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit. Each neighborhood has an activity area, family meeting spaces, outdoor courtyards and dining areas with country kitchens. Requirements:

Must possess a current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license or license eligible to practice in the state where to be employed. Prior experience in a sub-acute/ skilled nursing facility setting is required. Must enjoy working with the geriatric population to improve their quality of life.

Good Faith Rate Range: $50.00 - $55.00

The qualified candidate will:

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours.
