Preferred Therapy Solutions in Holden, MA seeks a Per Diem Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) to join our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department. You will provide comprehensive therapy services and collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to support residents' independence.

Candidates must hold a current OT license (OTR/L) or be eligible, with prior geriatric care experience and skilled nursing settings. Strong documentation and computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license or license eligible to practice in the state of employment.
• Prior experience in a sub-acute/ skilled nursing facility setting is required.
• Must enjoy working with the geriatric population to improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment.
• Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.

Holden Rehab is newly renovated and has grown to accommodate many needs with state of the art equipment and mostly private accommodations. Within Holden's new building there are three distinct neighborhoods; short stay, long term and Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit. Each neighborhood has an activity area, family meeting spaces, outdoor courtyards and dining areas with country kitchens.
