Job summary

California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City, Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for inpatient care on a part-time basis. The role offers a pay range of $51.00–$68.64 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

This JV between Cedars-Sinai, UCLA Health and Select Medical focuses on brain and neuro-rehabilitation with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities. The OT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and participate in discharge planning while

Qualifications

• Current state OT licensure or eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Certified BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients, develops, and implements treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services.
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Participates in discharge planning including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient.
