California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City, Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for inpatient care. This full-time role focuses on evaluating patients, planning and delivering therapy to support return to community activities, and participating in discharge planning.

Formación

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
• Minimum 2 years acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Certified BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates all assigned patients, develops, and implements treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
• Participates in discharge planning including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Minimum 2 years acute care or Inpatient Rehabilitation experience required.
• Certified BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
