Job summary

Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in Outpatient services. The role is 8:00a-5:00p, Monday through Friday, on-site, with a focus on evaluating patients and developing personalized treatment plans to restore independence.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited OT degree, current OT license, CPR certification, and strong documentation and communication skills; rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify functional needs and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence in daily living.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance motor skills, cognition, and adaptive abilities.
• Document patient progress with accuracy and clarity.
• Partner with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support patient success.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Experience in rehabilitation setting (preferred but not required)
