Maria Parham Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support outpatient rehab with specialized lymphedema care. The OT will assess daily living activities, develop tailored treatment plans, educate patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and independence.
Applicants must hold an OT license in North Carolina, have BLS/CPR, and obtain a lymphedema certification within six months of hire.

Schedule: Outpatient, Days, 4 10's M-Th 7:30am - 5:30pm OR 4 9's M-Th and Friday 4 hour shift, Weekend/Holiday float rotation to Acute/Inpatient Rehab
Candidates must possess Lymphedema Specialist experience; Lymphedema certification is required within six (6) months of hire.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients' ability to safely and effectively perform daily activities and develops individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence. This role implements therapeutic interventions using appropriate modalities, educates patients and caregivers on deficits and adaptive techniques, and provides guidance on the selection and use of adaptive equipment to support recovery. The OT documents patient progress in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards, monitors and adjusts plans of care as needed, and collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary rehab team on treatment goals and discharge planning. The therapist also supervises and delegates appropriate aspects of care to certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state regulations and professional practice standards.
