Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in City of Orange, NJ. The role supports planning, directing, and delivering OT services to residents, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold an active OT license and have a degree in Occupational Therapy. This PRN position offers a pathway to growth and opportunities within the facility's therapy team.

Qualificações

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, develop and direct Occupational Therapy services in the facility.
• Conduct regular resident screenings to determine best intervention.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Interpret evaluation findings to residents, families and team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Document and bill OT services per plan.
• Oversee COTA and ensure compliant documentation and reimbursement.

Job Position

Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
