Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide in-house therapy services at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Randallstown, MD. This part-time or PRN role requires a valid OT license and engages in interdisciplinary collaboration to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include screenings, treatment planning, schedule coordination, and documentation with supervision of a COTA as needed. Competitive pay and benefits based on status are offered.

Qualifications

• Active OT license required in practicing state(s).
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and licensure maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular screenings to determine best intervention or treatment for each patient.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans with goals and methods.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices.

Job Position:

Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type:

Part Time or PRN

Job Purpose:

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
