Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Randallstown, MD. This part-time or PRN role requires planning, organizing, and directing occupational therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with standards.

The therapist will screen and evaluate residents, develop goals and treatment plans, communicate findings to residents and families, establish schedules, document and bill for services, and supervise COTA as

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each patient.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Part Time or PRN

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:
