Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Wilson, NC. Licensed OT with strong clinical and documentation skills is required.

Positions available as Full Time, Part Time, or PRN. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, oversee COTA, and ensure high-quality resident care and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Occupational Therapy degree and an active license.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings and supervising COTAs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine the best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to residents, families, and the care team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Document and bill OT services in accordance with plans.
• Oversee COTA and ensure compliant documentation and reimbursement.

Job Position: Occupational Therapist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Evolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Wilson, NC!

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available

Job Purpose: To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have an Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
