Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a bright Physical Therapist to provide education-based therapy services to students in Hawaii for the 2026/2027 school year. Services are in-person across the state with a travel stipend available.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success in daily living activities and school participation. Proficiency in PT licensure and NPI is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals.
• Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom and educational activities.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations to support student success.
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
• Stay current with best practices in therapy through research and professional development.
