Job summary

Mission Healthcare is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for our San Diego home health team. You will evaluate, plan, and implement patient‑centered therapies in patients’ homes, focusing on improving daily living activities and independence.

Work closely with an interdisciplinary team and document progress to guide care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, active OT license, 1+ year experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited OT program.
• Valid state OT license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS, Hands‑on CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities in their home environment and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living tasks.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and adaptive equipment to promote safety and independence.
• Monitor progress and update care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Document visits and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary home health team.

Pay range: $40.00-$60.00 hourly, depending on experience.

• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and adaptive equipment to promote safety and independence.
• Monitor progress and update care plans based on patient outcomes and changing needs.
• Document visits and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary home health team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Valid state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS, hands‑on CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
