Job summary

Mission Healthcare in the western United States seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care across its service areas. You will evaluate functional abilities, implement therapeutic activities, and promote safety and independence for patients in their homes.

The role requires an accredited OT degree, valid state license, and CPR/BLS certification along with at least one year of OT experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for travel.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Valid state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS and hands-on CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities in the home environment and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living tasks (e.g., dressing, bathing, cooking).
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and adaptive equipment to promote safety and independence.
• Monitor progress and update care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Document visits and communicate with the home health team.

Pay range: $44-$66, depending on experience.

Schedule/Shift: Part-time (two days a week)

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current BLS, hands-on CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
