Job summary

Harnett Woods Nursing Home in Dunn, NC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide skilled OT services on-site. You will assess, plan, and implement interventions to improve residents' quality of life and independence, supervising COTAs and collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Valid occupational therapy / OT license.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Successful criminal background check.
• Long-term care facility experience preferred.

• Supervise and guide certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs).
• Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all therapy.
• Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
• Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff.
• Provide clinical documentation.
• Create positive resident outcomes.
• Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.

JOB SUMMARY

The Occupational Therapist / OT position is to be responsible for providing skilled occupational therapy. The occupational therapist will assess, plan, and implement personalized occupational therapy interventions to enhance residents' quality of life and functional independence.
