Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale provides occupational therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, an integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children 6-14 with ASD, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and other neurodiverse needs.

This role delivers evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative setting designed to foster each child's sensory processing, motor coordination, fine motor skills, and independence.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Illinois OT license through IDFPR.
• Experience providing OT services to children with autism or neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized and rotation therapy.
• Implementing client-centered approaches such as DIR/Floortime, IRM, reflex integration.
• Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.

Occupational Therapist (PT) - Therapeutic Day Program

Chicago, IL | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8am-4:00 PM schedule - no evenings or weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation Package: Valued between $88,000-$105,000.
• Annual Salary: $72,000–$85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
• Annual Increases: Annual merit-based increases.
