Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a Physical Therapist to support a Merlin Day Academy, helping 6-14 year olds with ASD, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You will drive mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence within a collaborative care model.

The role emphasizes evidence-based therapies, ongoing education, and professional growth, with opportunities for leadership paths and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Active IL license through IDFPR.
• Experience providing PT services to children with autism or neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized and rotation therapy.
• Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and IRM.
• Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.

Physical Therapist (PT) - Therapeutic Day Program

Chicago, IL | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8am-4:00 PM schedule - no evenings or weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation Package: Valued between $93,000-$105,000.
• Annual Salary: $76,000–$85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
• Annual Increases: Annual merit-based increases.

• Experience providing PT services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences
