Job description

TITLE: Occupational Therapist
LOCATION: Warden, WA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association and approved by the State of Washington Occupational Therapy Examining Committee.
• Active, or eligible to obtain, Washington state Occupational Therapist license.
• One year of outpatient care experience preferred.
• Hand therapy and splinting experience preferred.
• Able to evaluate and provide care across the age continuum from school age, young adults, middle-aged adults and geriatric patients.

Hours and Compensation

• Position is full time, 8am-4:30pm.
• Range between $53.49/hr and $66.58/hr depending on experience, with additional shift diffs.
• Full benefits package including relocation assistance ($5,000) and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to outpatient populations, including assessment, treatment, care, and educational instruction with patients and families.
• Interpret patients’ self-report, behavior, and cognitive, physical, emotional, and developmental processes.
• Deliver individualized treatment reflecting developmental needs and treatment ranges for each patient.
• Develop and lead an elbow/wrist/hand program with significant growth and referral support.
• Benefit from mentorship with a provider who has over 25 years of experience in hand therapy program development.
