HealthPro Heritage in Tenafly, NJ, is offering an Occupational Therapist PRN opportunity at an assisted living community, with therapy Monday to Friday and no evenings or weekends. The role supports resident mobility, function, and independence through personalized plans and family education.

As a therapist-led, diverse organization, we provide clinical services across nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, and pediatric schools and clinics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with effective treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on daily activities and adaptive strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans with compliance.
• Advocacy and Support: Help clients access community resources and accommodations.
