Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑facility rehab team. You will assess patients, create recovery plans, and deliver OT services to diverse populations, including older adults and children, to promote independence and functional recovery.

You will train patients and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care. Relocation and visa support available where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE.
  • Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to patients’ goals.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on skills needed for independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and refer patients as needed.
  • Document treatment sessions and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.

Position Summary

Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: In facility

Reporting structure: Reports to Director of Rehab

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You are a healer, a helper, and a teacher who trains patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity. You design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, adapting to each patient’s needs.
