Powerbackrehabtoyou, located in Mountainside, NJ, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering tailored occupational therapy.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, along with initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and a valid license for the state. The position offers a competitive salary between $55.00 - $60.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Title: Occupational Therapist

Location/work environment: In facility

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You are a healer and a helper, who designs a program that restores, reinforces, and enhances the patient’s physical abilities and independence. You adapt to the needs of each patient and incorporate a variety of settings, working collaboratively with peers while supporting referrals as needed. A key part of the role is teaching patients and caregivers the skills they need to promote independence and productivity.
