Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group seeks a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Placerville, CA. This full-time or part-time role offers onsite work or teletherapy services, enabling meaningful student support in classroom and home settings.

You will evaluate and treat students, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote functional skills and educational success.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Support fine motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care, and functional life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and therapeutic strategies to support student success.

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in a full-time or part-time role in Placerville, CA- open to onsite or teletherapy services. As a member of a collaborative educational team, you will work alongside teachers, families, and other specialists to support students with diverse learning and developmental needs while helping them reach their full potential.
